Some people reading this will already have a blog, but is it a blog that makes money?
I’m pretty new to the money-for-blogging arena, but I recognise that it’s simply one of the best flexible jobs out there.
You can blog about what you love, express opinions freely and if you do it the right way, you can be paid for it.
As I’m at the start of this journey, I thought I’d blog about my experiences so far and how my blog is now starting to pay for itself, as well as ways to set up a blog that will make money.

Just done my first bit of scouting over at Slice the Pie where the scouting rooms are now open.
It was a lot of fun and I can see how this can become seriously addictive!
You have to listen to a minute of the song before you are allowed to submit your review and I thought this was going to be too long and I’d be counting down the seconds, in fact it was too short.
First off, I had some folk number, music I don’t normally listen to. I was typing down my review as it played, and before I knew it the song was nearly over – think I’m trying to be Simon Cowell a little bit too much!
Then I had some terrible hip-hop type track which sounded like it had been recorded in a public toilet. I had a hard time giving that one a review as I could only imagine what the band must be thinking when they read, “This song is so monotonous I almost fell asleep.” So didn’t put that, instead I put “Needs more to carry the vocals.” [Read more]

A few weeks ago, I posted up an opportunity about working as a web based text researcher. As I’ve never actually done the job, the information I had on it was pretty limited. But now, thanks to Paul, who works full time from home as a web based researcher, here is a little more about what the job is really like.

Last week Flexible Working Life posted an article on working as a web based researcher. As I work full time as a Texpert for Texperts I’d like to give a little more information about what the job entails.
The service revolves around customers texting a question from their mobile phones to 66000 and getting an answer in minutes, charged at £1. The charge means that customers can get an accurate answer from a real human, and some of that money is used to pay researchers a decent wage. It isn’t a way to get rich quick, but it pays a realistic wage unlike dabbing with online surveys, and it is zero risk which can’t be said for buying stock to sell on Ebay. [Read more]
