A freind of mine has just told me about this site and it looks like fun, and also it might be a good way to earn a few extra pennies.
Yudu.com is a site where you can upload a variety of stuff - from entire books (audio and visual) to artwork, to music, to photographs… basically a whole heap of stuff.
This has two advantages: you get to reach a wide variety of people with your stuff, quickly. So for example, if you were a photographer and uploaded a few of your images, you are instantly exposing your work and talent to a wide audience which in turn, gives you a bit of a fan base and people who will hopefully look up your professional site.
The site also has the option to go YuDu Plus, where you can start to earn money, they say: “The YUDU Plus upgrade is also your route to earning money, either by selling your own creations or helping other people sell theirs.”
So if you’re looking for a simple way to archive stuff, or you are interested in earning some money whilst marketing your talents, and recommending the talents of others, then it might be worth a look

Thanks for the review of YUDU, the ePublishing marketplace. You have pointed out one of the key things that makes YUDU different from all of the other sites out there - with YUDU, you can get paid for your expertise. Sell your publications or even promote someone else’s publication and get paid for it.
The other thing that you didn’t point out that makes YUDU truly unique is the ability to add multimedia to your documents, such as video, audio, or Flash. It is truly a place that gives experts a voice.
